Defense Grid Technologies ("we", "us") operates defensegridtech.com. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and who else is involved in handling it.

Information you give us

If you use our contact form, we collect the information you enter: your name, email address, and message, plus your company name, phone number, and the service you're interested in if you choose to provide them. We use this only to respond to your inquiry and, if you become a client, to provide our services.

Our security self-check scores your answers in your own browser; they aren't sent to us unless you ask for a review. If you do, we receive your answers, score, name, email address, and any company name or phone number you add, and we use them only to follow up on your results.

If you become a client, we may send you a private link to our onboarding form. The information you enter there (business details, contacts, and a description of your IT environment) is stored securely by our hosting provider and in our service management platform, and we use it only to set up and provide our services.

If you email us directly, we hold that correspondence in our business email system.

Information collected automatically

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies, and it does not build a profile of you.

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand which pages are visited and where visitors come from. It is privacy-focused, uses no cookies, and does not track individuals across websites or sessions. Our hosting provider also processes standard technical information, such as IP addresses, to deliver the site securely and block attacks.

Service providers

A small number of third parties process information on our behalf when you use this site:

• Cloudflare hosts the website, stores contact and onboarding form submissions, and provides security and analytics.
• Cloudflare Turnstile provides the anti-spam check on our forms. It may process technical information about your browser to distinguish people from bots, and doesn't use advertising cookies.
• Google Fonts serves the fonts used on this site, which means your browser requests those files from Google's servers.
• Microsoft 365 hosts our business email.
• Syncro is our service management platform. It holds client records, including details submitted through the onboarding form.

Each of these providers handles data under its own privacy policy. We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it with anyone for advertising.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiries for as long as needed to respond and to maintain ordinary business records. If you'd like your inquiry deleted, email us and we'll remove it.

Contact form messages and self-check review requests are emailed to us, and the copies stored by our hosting provider are deleted after 30 days.

Onboarding form answers are deleted from this website's systems 30 days after they've been transferred to our service management platform, where they're kept as part of your client record. Onboarding links that expire unused are deleted automatically.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@DefenseGridTech.com and we'll respond. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act.

Security

We protect this site with HTTPS encryption, strict browser security policies, and the protections provided by our hosting platform. No system is perfectly secure, but we apply the same standards here that we recommend to clients.

Children

This website is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date above.
